That's all there is to it
- Tells You When to Add Water
The tube is clear so you can see when the Crystals shrink, thus telling you when water is needed.
- Easy to Maintain 70% Humidity
Automatically maintains the 70% humidity levels required to keep cigars at their freshest.
- The humidification process is actually controlled by the nontoxic chemicals we charge into
- the Crystals in the factory. You never have to add anything but plain tap water again.
- Cannot Leak onto Cigars
The walls of the tube breathe through microscopic pores so water vapor can pass
- through without letting any liquid through. The perforations in the cap are for jump-starting
- the humidification process each time you open the humidor. The Crystals are actually polymer super sponges which hold the humidification liquids without the possibility of any dripping out.
- It cannot leak liquid so it can actually be placed right next to an un-celloed cigar
- Uses Plain Tap Water
There are no pores to clog up in the Crystals. All you need is plain tap water unless the water in your area is so hard that it is undrinkable.
One DryMistat® per 30 to 50 Cigars Up to 3 Months on a Single Refill
This can vary based on the factors which affect evaporation. These include; the
- environment outside the humidor, the frequency of use, how well-sealed the
- humidor is, whether or not the humidor is broken in, and how many cigars
- each DryMistat® has to maintain.
-
- The DryMistat® turns ANY Well-Sealed Container into a Humidor
- Of course the DryMistat® works in a regular humidor, and for a large humidor,
- a few of them can be used. Just place them next to the cigars and evenly spaced
- throughout the box. This will evenly distribute the humidity (not just concentrated near
- the lid). No special mounts are needed. There is no danger of the device falling off the
- lid nor can our unit crush a cigar if the humidor is too full. It's shaped like a cigar, so if
- a cigar fits, so will a DryMistat.®
For example:
- a premium wooden cigar box is generally sealed well enough to become a humidor
- any 3 finger portable cigar case
- a Tupperware® or Rubbermaid® container
- a Ziploc® bag
- Only your imagination limits the possibilities
